The 15th National Esperanto Conference was held from October 31st to November 2nd at Shanxi University of Finance and Economics in Taiyuan, Shanxi. Over 200 Esperanto speakers gathered here. Esperanto is an artificial language created by Polish doctor Dr. Zamenhof in 1887 based on the Indo European language family, with the aim of enabling equal and barrier free communication for all humanity. Associate Professor Wang Disheng from the School of Pharmacy, Bengbu Medical University, Anhui Province, brought his original Chinese medicine treatise "The Root of Health Care for Human Life" in Esperanto, which he had written for 10 years, to the venue to encourage Esperanto speakers in the medical field to produce more good books and promote Chinese medicine culture to the world. This book is sold at the Esperanto Bookstore at the headquarters of the Dutch International Esperanto Association.
