The Macao Special Administrative Region Investment Promotion Bureau recently organized 19 Macao enterprises to bring over 260 products from Macao and Portuguese speaking countries to participate in the third phase of the 138th China Import and Export Fair (referred to as "Canton Fair") Import Exhibition, with significant results. It is reported that this is the 38th consecutive time that Macau Merchants Group has organized Macau enterprises to participate in the Canton Fair. During the exhibition, more than 200 matchmaking negotiations were held, covering food agency, alcohol trade, and health products. A Macau enterprise is in talks with a Hong Kong chain enterprise for cooperation and is expected to enter the Guangdong Hong Kong Macao Greater Bay Area and the Yangtze River Delta market. At the same time, some companies have found partners to develop new sales channels and sell their products to mainland and overseas markets. It is reported that at the Macau Pavilion of the Canton Fair Import Exhibition Hall, related products are displayed while promoting the investment environment, development opportunities, advantages of the Macau Qin Convention and Exhibition, and services of the Macau China Merchants Group in the Guangdong Macau Deep Cooperation Zone in Macau and Hengqin. Macau enterprises also participated in the 2025 Food and Agricultural Products Import Promotion Matchmaking Conference, showcasing their products, facilitating negotiations, and further extending their trading platform. The major health manufacturer in Macau stated that they have identified potential cooperation opportunities through negotiations with suppliers and hope to export research and development services to Macau; For the first time, health food manufacturers are connecting with buyers from Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates to explore the Middle East market; Macao's time-honored brands focus on long-term development, entering multiple cross-border e-commerce platforms to further expand their global market. Macao China Merchants Group stated that it will continue to support local enterprises to participate in international exhibitions in the future, help Australian enterprises go global, and further promote the moderate and diversified development of Macao's economy.
