The opening of the 15th National Games is approaching, and the Hong Kong SAR government has launched a series of innovative immigration and management measures aimed at providing efficient and convenient services for participants and ensuring the smooth progress of the event. According to Hong Kong SAR Government's Immigration Officer (Hong Kong Zhuhai Macao Bridge Control), Joey Yung, in order to facilitate athletes and related personnel to travel between Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macau, Hong Kong has set up 16 dedicated channels at four designated entry and exit ports, namely Hong Kong International Airport, West Kowloon Station of the high-speed railway, Hong Kong Zhuhai Macao Bridge Hong Kong Port and Shenzhen Bay Port, since October 26th. The newly established channel adopts advanced facial recognition technology. Relevant personnel only need to make a simple registration when they first come to Hong Kong, and can "swipe their face" smoothly pass the level during the event without using any physical identification documents. The whole process only takes about 7 seconds. This is the first time that Hong Kong has opened a full process facial recognition customs clearance for visiting tourists, and it is expected that 5000 people will use this exclusive arrangement. The reporter recently saw at the Hong Kong Port of the Hong Kong Zhuhai Macao Bridge that there are two prominent "registered personnel exclusive channels" in the entry hall and exit hall respectively. There are electronic signs next to the passage, and the theme elements of the 15th National Games and the mascots "Joyful" and "Joyful" dolls are decorated above and around the passage. Uniformed staff guided the incoming and outgoing personnel, and the scene was orderly. For the men's individual bicycle (road) race that spans across Guangdong, Hong Kong, and Macau, a "pre clearance inspection+closed-loop management" approach will be adopted. This plan aims to achieve intelligent clearance with "zero delay, zero contact, and zero waiting". During the competition, athletes can safely, imperceptibly, and quickly complete customs clearance while maintaining their competitive state, while meeting the requirements of the three entry and exit management measures. Athletes can travel at a speed of over 40 kilometers per hour on a track of more than 230 kilometers, passing through the Hong Kong Zhuhai Macao Bridge three port area six times without interruption. Huo Yongyi said, "During the competition, there will be many visiting tourists or Hong Kong residents traveling back and forth between Guangdong, Hong Kong, and Macao to watch the event. We will monitor the situation at each control point in real time, flexibly allocate manpower, open immigration counters and vehicle entry and exit inspection channels, and ensure smooth flow of people and vehicles passing through customs
