The torch relay of the 15th National Games has recently come to an end. The sacred flame passed through the four cities of Hong Kong, Macau, Guangzhou, and Shenzhen merged and leaped into a cluster of "concentric flames". The 'fire of unity' not only belongs to sports, but also to the entire Guangdong Hong Kong Macao Greater Bay Area. In just one day, the three cities are linked and the four cities are simultaneous interpreting. From fire collection to route design, Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macao are working together. New progress has been made in the integrated development of the Greater Bay Area, and the practice of "one country, two systems" shows a new atmosphere. The deepening of China Unicom's 15th National Games across three regions and the facilitation measures introduced by the governments of Guangdong, Hong Kong, and Macao demonstrate the vivid practice of deepening China Unicom and cooperation. At Hong Kong International Airport, West Kowloon Station of the high-speed railway, Hong Kong Zhuhai Macao Bridge, and Shenzhen Bay Port, the Hong Kong SAR government has set up 16 exclusive self-service channels that allow registered members of the 15th National Games delegation, athletes, and staff to "swipe their faces" to cross the border in just 7 seconds, without the need for any physical proof documents. Immigration Director Guo Junfeng said that it is expected that 5000 personnel will use the exclusive arrangement. This is the first time in Hong Kong that visitors can use facial recognition technology to complete immigration procedures, which will greatly improve customs clearance efficiency. The two cross-border events of the 15th National Games, the Zhuhai Road Cycling Race and the Shenzhen Marathon, have pioneered the "port is the track" mode, which will achieve for the first time the seamless passage of athletes in high-speed competition with "zero delay, zero contact, and zero waiting". The Hong Kong SAR government has introduced innovative "pre clearance inspection" and "closed-loop management" models, which can not only ensure that participants maintain their competitive status, complete clearance safely, imperceptibly, and quickly, but also meet the requirements of entry and exit measures in the three places at the same time. Organizing cross-border events requires deep cooperation among Guangdong, Hong Kong, and Macau in areas such as regulatory mutual recognition and information exchange. The organizing committee of the 15th National Games innovatively established a "1+4" liaison mechanism to solve cross-border cooperation problems. At the national level, establish the Hong Kong and Macau Work Coordination Department of the organizing committee to undertake key functions of top-level coordination and cross regional resource allocation. Guangdong, Hong Kong, and Macao have jointly established regular mechanisms such as liaison meetings, chief liaison officers, liaison officers, and joint working groups, forming a communication network of "hierarchical docking and comprehensive coverage". During the 15th National Games, more than 6000 mainland personnel will travel to Hong Kong and Macau, and over 3000 Hong Kong and Macau personnel will come to the mainland to participate in the competition, making it the largest number of mainland personnel traveling to Hong Kong and Macau to participate in the competition. A series of innovative measures for customs clearance not only serve the competition, but also accumulate valuable experience for the normalized flow of personnel in the Greater Bay Area. In addition to athletes, audiences from the three regions can also enjoy cross-border viewing experiences. Hong Kong's West Kowloon Station has opened a "race shuttle line", and Macau has launched a "spectator bus pass" to help achieve seamless cross city viewing. Technology empowers the torch relay in Shenzhen, where the humanoid robot "Kuafu" steadily holds the torch and completes the relay. This is the first time in the history of the National Games that a robot "torchbearer" has appeared. The mass-produced models complete their tasks with a "zero modification" attitude, which is supported by breakthroughs in core areas such as dynamic motion control, load balancing, and complex environment adaptation by humanoid robot companies, as well as the low latency "information highway" created by 5G technology. Shenzhen torchbearer Wang Yuning said, "It feels very fantastic to pass the torch face-to-face with robots." In the host city, elements of "technology transportation" can be seen everywhere. More than 300 autonomous vehicles have been put into use in the Guangzhou competition area, including over 260 passenger cars providing shuttle services to key locations, and approximately 70 unmanned sanitation vehicles operating around the clock. In the Hong Kong competition area, the Hong Kong Police Force uses drones to conduct high-altitude surveys of venues and surrounding areas, draw 3D topographic maps, and provide precise support for police deployment. According to statistics, about 40% of the core technology for the 15th National Games comes from Hong Kong, including air conditioning cooling, precise positioning of indoor seats, and one click call for sign language translation services. The continuous landing of technological achievements with research and development sources in Hong Kong and application markets in mainland China witnesses the deep integration and development of science and technology innovation in Guangdong, Hong Kong, and Macao. The application of indoor navigation technology in venues also has a collaborative model between Guangdong Hong Kong industry and research. Ma Shi Technology, an innovative technology enterprise incubated by the Huo Yingdong Research Institute of the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology in Guangzhou, has developed precise indoor positioning technology. Our 'Road Recognition' system used for navigation in venues of the National Games can shorten the navigation accuracy to within 2 meters. Viewers and athletes can scan codes on their mobile phones or use mobile mini programs for real-time and accurate navigation, "said Luo Huawei, head of the cultural and sports department of Mashi Technology. Gao Min, Dean of the Huo Yingdong Research Institute at the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, said that the 15th National Games is an excellent showcase, where a large number of scientific and technological achievements with research and development sources in Hong Kong and applications and markets in mainland China are concentrated and applied, which will better promote cooperation between Guangdong Hong Kong industry, academia, and research. The sports event jointly organized by the three regions of cultural integration is a "big celebration" for the people of the Guangdong Hong Kong Macao Greater Bay Area. Both inside and outside the arena, "Little Dolphin" volunteers from Guangdong, Hong Kong, and Macau are writing a new chapter in the integrated development of youth in the Greater Bay Area. More than 30 volunteer representatives gathered in Guangzhou for the volunteer exchange activity in the Guangdong competition area. Participating in volunteer service gives me a strong sense of familiarity and pride, "said Hong Kong student Xie Feiyi. The joint hosting of the 15th National Games by the three regions is an important opportunity for Hong Kong to better integrate into the overall development of the country and enrich the practice of 'One Country, Two Systems'. It will further enhance the understanding of young people in Hong Kong towards the overall development of the country and mainland cities in the Greater Bay Area, and strengthen their national identity. ”The Chief Secretary for Administration of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, Chen Guoji, said. Mass sports continue to heat up in the Greater Bay Area, with young people from the three regions exchanging skills and enhancing friendships through activities such as basketball, badminton, and dragon and lion dances. At the first "People's Cup" Sports Carnival held in Shenzhen recently, 420 young people from Shenzhen, Hong Kong, and Macau competed on the same stage. Macau youth Huang Ruikun said, "This game is like a bond that tightly connects friends in the Greater Bay Area. Various cultural activities provide a platform for young people from the three regions to exchange ideas. Activities such as the National Games Health Run, Badminton Invitational Tournament, and Lion Dance Culture Exhibition have penetrated into urban life. The "Shenzhen Hong Kong Macao Welcomes the National Games" Sports Carnival opened in Macau, followed by a relay in Shenzhen and a finale in Hong Kong, attracting nearly 10000 young people from Shenzhen, Hong Kong, and Macau to participate. Data shows that as the competition approaches, the popularity of travel bookings in major cities in the Greater Bay Area is rapidly increasing, with a weekly increase of over 40% in travel search volume in Guangzhou and Shenzhen. Travel search popularity in Hong Kong and Macau has also significantly increased, and "sports+cultural tourism" is activating consumption in the Bay Area. Fang Ke, the research director of the Hong Kong "One Country, Two Systems" Research Center, believes that the joint operation of the three regions will explore new cooperation models under the "One Country, Two Systems" policy by taking advantage of the opportunity of the competition. "We look forward to the three regions leveraging the resources of the competition to continuously strengthen connectivity and inject unlimited possibilities into the development of the Guangdong Hong Kong Macao Greater Bay Area.
