Yuanling, Hunan: Bridge deck paving for Dongting River Yuanshui Extra Large Bridge

On November 13, 2025, the key control project of G59 Zhang (Jiajie) Guan (Zhuang) Expressway, Dongting River Yuanshui Extra Large Bridge, which is currently under construction in Yuanling County, Huaihua City, Hunan Province, is undergoing asphalt concrete paving construction on the bridge deck. The main bridge of the bridge is designed as a double tower single span suspension bridge with a span of 800 meters, which is the largest suspension bridge under construction in Hunan Province. It is planned to be completed and opened to traffic in the first half of 2026. (New Society)
