On November 14th, coinciding with the nationwide in-depth study and implementation of the spirit of the Fourth Plenary Session of the 20th Central Committee of the Communist Party of China, and the important milestone of the end of the 14th Five Year Plan and the planning of the 15th Five Year Plan, the Liwan District Overseas Chinese Federation and the new Standing Committee, Honorary Chairman, and Advisor of the Liwan District Overseas Chinese Federation gathered together to hold a series of special research conferences with the rhythm of "theoretical learning+work department deployment+field research", injecting the momentum of the overseas Chinese community into the high-quality development of Liwan and the construction of the bay area. The meeting began with theoretical armament, and the Party branch of the District Overseas Chinese Federation held a theoretical learning center group learning (expansion) meeting, simultaneously launching the "Overseas Chinese Heart to the Party? Overseas Chinese Wisdom Gathering" special study class, with guidance from the Propaganda Department of the District Committee. At the meeting, Bu Zhiqun, the Chairman of the District Overseas Chinese Federation, stated that the key to studying and implementing the spirit of the plenary session and General Secretary Xi Jinping's series of important speeches is to incorporate the work of the Overseas Chinese Federation, identify the entry and focus points for serving the development goals of the 15th Five Year Plan, play a good role as a bridge and link, widely unite and gather the wisdom and strength of overseas Chinese, and reflect the responsibility of the Overseas Chinese Federation in achieving the goals of the 15th Five Year Plan and promoting the process of Chinese style modernization. The standing committee members unanimously stated that they will closely adhere to the requirements of "integrating learning, thinking, and application, and unifying knowledge, belief, and action", based on the unique advantages of overseas Chinese intelligence and connectivity between China and foreign countries, transform learning achievements into specific measures to serve overseas Chinese and promote development, and practice the mission of "the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation is the common dream of Chinese people at home and abroad" with practical actions, so that the hearts of overseas Chinese and the Party can resonate at the same frequency. The Liwan District Overseas Chinese Federation held a special study class on "Overseas Chinese Heart Towards the Party? Overseas Chinese Wisdom Gathers in Li". The first chairman meeting and standing committee meeting of the 11th session of the District Overseas Chinese Federation were held consecutively. The meeting systematically summarized the work achievements of the District Overseas Chinese Federation in 2025, accurately planned the development blueprint of the Federation in 2026, clarified 17 key tasks in 5 major categories, defined responsibilities and time nodes, and ensured the implementation and effectiveness of various work. The meeting also reviewed and approved personnel issues, laying a solid foundation for the sustainable development of the Overseas Chinese Federation. At the seminar on "Gathering Overseas Chinese Intelligence and Power to Jointly Promote the New Development of the Overseas Chinese Federation", the part-time vice chairman and standing committee member shared their ideas on overseas Chinese cooperation based on industry resources and development vision. They proposed a model of "Overseas Chinese Federation building platforms, resource sharing, and government enterprise overseas Chinese linkage" to promote the deep integration of their own advantages with the work of the Overseas Chinese Federation Center, and continuously enhance the organizational cohesion and influence of the Overseas Chinese Federation. After the part-time vice chairman and standing committee members of the District Overseas Chinese Federation shared their ideas on overseas Chinese cooperation, the attending representatives went to the 1850 Creative Park to conduct on-site research, visited four enterprises in the park, closely inspected the development status of characteristic cultural industries such as intangible cultural heritage Guangzhou embroidery, hotel culture and tourism, life services, and big health, and gained a detailed understanding of industrial innovation and market expansion. From the craftsmanship of Guangxiu Workshop to the technological innovation of the health industry, the vivid practice of overseas Chinese talents empowering industrial upgrading has made the research site a lively classroom for "learning and application transformation". The attending representatives visited the 1850 Creative Park Standing Committee and had in-depth exchanges with enterprise leaders on key issues such as industrial innovation, bottleneck resolution, and resource docking. Everyone expressed that 'from the conference room to the industrial park, the work of the Overseas Chinese Federation has always been rooted in reality'. In the future, the Overseas Chinese Federation platform will be used as a link to promote the deep integration of the wisdom of the overseas Chinese community and the real economy, and achieve the two-way empowerment of personal development, overseas Chinese enterprise growth, and regional development.
