In Pingnan, eastern Fujian, a small county town surrounded by mountains, the chill is already blowing in November. The Heroic Promotion Association and its delegation came to the home of martyr Chen Xiangrong. This old house is full of memories. Since junior high school, Xiangrong has been living here, and the plaque on the wall in the middle of the living room reading "Home of First Class Merit" shines brightly. This is another meeting between two military mothers, one year after the "Salute to Heroic Mothers" campaign organized by the Heroes Promotion Association in 2024. Liu Bin passionately talked about the story of martyr Chen Xiangrong's "clear love, only for China" and the martyr's mother "Chen's mother asked for courage". She said, 'My son is also serving in the military. We are both mothers of soldiers, and I understand your feelings very well.' The conversation between the two 'military mothers' did not have grandiose words, only simple concerns and resonance. Liu Bin conveyed the concern and condolences of the Martyrs' Promotion Association and various sectors of society to Yao Mama: "Heroes sacrificed for the country, and we must protect the closest people for them." Liu Bin gently walked into the room where martyr Chen Xiangrong was alive. The desk is tidy as before, and in the photos on the wall, the young soldier's gaze is resolute and clear. This female soldier, who also served on the Qinghai Plateau, deeply bowed to the martyr and gently placed golden sugar oranges in front of the photo - "Xiangrong, your favorite sugar oranges, mothers all remember." At this moment, the emotions of the two mothers blended in a quiet room - one guarding the hero's son with eternal longing, and the other caring for every martyr's family with continuous actions. Before parting, Xiangrong's mother took out a sweater that she had knitted herself. It's getting cold in the north, this sweater will protect you from the cold. The dense stitches and thick yarn are a warm transmission between the two martyrs' families. As a mother, I deeply understand that behind every soldier, there is a mother who cares about him; Behind every martyr stands a great mother. We need to let the heroic mothers know that they have never endured wind and rain alone. As a member of the Heroes Promotion Association, we should also let society see and let every hero's mother feel the warmth of society, and let great love be passed on. ”This visit is not only a consolation, but also a relay about love and responsibility.
