As of now, more than 760 Hong Kong, Macao, and Taiwan residents have been allowed to practice law in mainland China, and over 630 Hong Kong and Macao lawyers have obtained the Guangdong Hong Kong Macao Greater Bay Area Lawyer Practice Certificate. In recent years, the Ministry of Justice has continued to expand the opening of legal services to Hong Kong, Macao, and Taiwan, deeply implemented the pilot program for lawyer practice in the Guangdong Hong Kong Macao Greater Bay Area, and closely maintained legal exchanges and cooperation between mainland China and Hong Kong, Macao, and Taiwan, creating a favorable environment for Hong Kong, Macao, and Taiwan residents, especially Hong Kong, Macao, and Taiwan lawyers, to work and start businesses in mainland China.
