Ma Youheng reviewed the glorious 30-year history of Macau International Airport in his welcome speech. He said that in the future, Macao International Airport will actively participate in the construction of the Guangdong Hong Kong Macao Greater Bay Area and the "the Belt and Road" initiative, closely cooperate with the strategic deployment of the SAR government, and work together to build Macao into a top world tourism and leisure center. Tan Weiwen said in his speech that at present, the SAR government is making every effort to promote the construction of the international air transport hub (port) on the west bank of the the Pearl River River. At the same time, the airport reclamation expansion project and the Hengqin front-end cargo station project are progressing steadily, and in combination with the deepening implementation of the Zhuhai Macao airport cooperation project, they will jointly build a new logistics and travel pattern of "seamless connection between Australia and Qinhuangdao". We hope that Macau International Airport will continue to seize the opportunities of civil aviation development, shoulder the mission of connecting the world, and inject new momentum into the moderate and diversified development of Macau's economy. Ma Bing stated that in the past 30 years, with the strong support of the central government, the civil aviation industry in Macau has flourished, becoming a vivid practice of "One Country, Two Systems" in the civil aviation field. The Civil Aviation Administration of China will continue to support the high-quality development of Macau's civil aviation industry, deepen cooperation between the mainland and Macau, and promote the coordinated development of civil aviation in the Guangdong Hong Kong Macao Greater Bay Area. The Macau International Airport is located on Taipa Island in the Macau Special Administrative Region.
