The reporter recently learned from the National Data Administration that by 2026, China will launch more than 30 national standards in the field of data, and the pace of standard development in emerging fields will continue to accelerate. In 2026, China will deploy a batch of data standards in cutting-edge directions such as intelligent agents and embodied intelligence. At the same time, we will accelerate the introduction of a batch of urgently needed standards in the areas of public data, high-quality datasets, and data infrastructure, and accelerate the development of a batch of key standards in the areas of urban digital transformation and national integrated computing power network. In addition, accelerate the establishment of important data identification catalogs for industries such as industry, telecommunications, seed industry, aerospace, geographic information, and civil aviation. The information released at the plenary meeting of the National Data Standardization Technical Committee held on January 5th shows that in 2025, the National Data Standardization Committee has developed 48 national standards and technical documents, of which more than one-third of the standards are undergoing verification pilot projects during the formulation process, and the "quality" and "quantity" of standard supply are improving simultaneously; Establishing coordination mechanisms with multiple industry and local standardization committees, with strong support and recommendations from relevant departments such as natural resources, ecological environment, disease control, traditional Chinese medicine, media, and pharmaceuticals, six industry application groups have been established, and the standardization work mechanism is becoming increasingly sound. The relevant person in charge of the National Standards Committee stated that with the advantages of massive data and huge market application scale, China has consistently ranked first in the world in both the development process and application depth of data standards.
