Z99/100 train officially exits the historical stage

The predecessor of the Z99/100 train was the K99/100 Shanghai Kowloon direct passenger train opened in 1997 to welcome Hong Kong's return. After multiple upgrades, the train number was changed to Z99/100. On January 14th, the last Z100 train entered Shanghai Railway Station. This train, which had been running for nearly 29 years, officially exited the historical stage. With the adjustment of the national railway timetable on January 26th, the line will be upgraded to high-speed train operation. (New Society)
