The reporter learned from the National Agricultural Exhibition Center (China Agricultural Museum) that recently, the China Agricultural Museum officially released the 10th anniversary protection report of the successful application for World Heritage of the 24 solar terms. On November 30, 2016, China's application for the "24 Solar Terms" was included in the UNESCO Representative List of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity. In the past 10 years, the central government has invested over 22.595 million yuan in special funds to clarify the family's financial situation and promote sustainable inheritance, establishing a solid funding guarantee system. After comprehensive exploration, a total of 247 solar term related intangible cultural heritage projects have been listed at all levels in China, including 55 at the national level, 90 at the provincial level, and 102 at the municipal level. In terms of social influence and conversion utilization, over the past 10 years, the public coverage of the 24 solar terms has reached more than 600 million people. The platform effect of the 24 solar terms cultural works design competition held for 6 consecutive years has been highlighted, and a total of 95862 works/sets have been collected. The Ministry of Culture and Tourism, relying on seasonal resources, has launched 82 national rural tourism boutique routes under the theme of "Creating Free Villages during the New Year", effectively promoting the integrated development of culture and tourism in areas such as Neixiang in Henan and Huanjiang in Guangxi. This year, the China Agricultural Museum will transition from static display to immersive experience. The "24 Solar Terms Immersive Experience Hall" will add a VR large space experience area, allowing visitors to experience the four time cycle firsthand. Next, the China Agricultural Museum will also hold a summary meeting on the protection and inheritance work, release the "Blue Book on the Protection and Inheritance of the 24 Solar Terms" and the "24 Solar Terms Database", and launch protection and inheritance initiatives for the next 10 years.
