Global auspicious zodiac design exhibition unveiled at the United Nations headquarters in New York

The reporter learned from the Beijing Municipal Bureau of Culture and Tourism that on February 2nd, the Global Lucky Zodiac Design Exhibition was unveiled at the United Nations headquarters in New York. The exhibition is themed around zodiac culture and uses diverse contemporary design languages to interpret the endless vitality of zodiac culture. Its aim is to build a bridge for cross-cultural dialogue, allowing audiences from various countries to touch the pulse of Eastern aesthetics and feel the resonance between tradition and modernity. This exhibition is jointly organized by the Permanent Mission of China to the United Nations, the Beijing Municipal Bureau of Culture and Tourism, and the Central Academy of Fine Arts. It will continue to be on display until February 13th. It is reported that this exhibition showcases excellent creative works accumulated from the Global Lucky Zodiac Design Competition, and also specially displays the Year of the Horse themed design works jointly collected with design schools in the United States. This collection gathered over a hundred outstanding creative works from designers from multiple countries including China and the United States, covering various categories such as graphic design, product design, multimedia art, and more. These works not only deeply extract the aesthetic essence of traditional zodiac culture, but also integrate contemporary innovative design concepts, creating a cultural feast that combines Eastern charm and international perspective, vividly interpreting the creative transformation and cross-cultural resonance of zodiac culture. As an international cultural brand created by the Beijing Municipal Bureau of Culture and Tourism for many years, the Global Lucky Zodiac Design Competition has collected more than 40000 works from nearly 30 countries worldwide since its establishment in 2014. 645 excellent works have been exhibited in 17 countries worldwide, becoming an international platform for the dissemination of zodiac culture that integrates creation, display, exchange, and transformation.
