The Economic and Technological Development Bureau of the Macao SAR Government (hereinafter referred to as the "Bureau") announced on the 5th that the "One Order, Two Reports" general cargo mode (from Macao to the mainland direction) system of the Guangdong Macao Goods "Single Window" comprehensive service platform has been launched for trial operation, and the "One Order, Two Reports" service will fully implement two-way traffic. The "Single Window" for Guangdong Macao goods is a functional supplement and service extension of the China (Guangdong) International Trade Single Window Goods Declaration System and the Macau Economic and Technological Bureau's Electronic Customs Declaration Service (EDI) platform. It provides convenient customs clearance services for Chinese mainland export enterprises and Macau import enterprises through electronic and information technology means. The platform will launch its first application of the "One Order, Two Reports" service for Guangdong and Macao goods on March 10, 2022. According to the introduction of the Science and Technology Bureau, the service has been further improved, implementing two-way communication. Mainland enterprises only need to fill in the relevant information once for customs declaration of goods imported and exported to Macau. Through the relevant functions, the information can be sent to the corresponding EDI platform account of the Macau enterprise and a declaration form can be directly generated. Macau enterprises can also verify the declaration materials related to import and export on the EDI platform, modify the landed price (import) or offshore price (export), and complete the customs declaration procedures after signing and sending. The Economic and Technological Bureau stated that the new service can reduce the labor cost and time of repeatedly inputting data, minimize errors, and improve efficiency. On the first day of service trial operation, the enterprise has already used it, and the entire process is smooth, convenient, and efficient. (New Society)
