On February 10th, the top head of the steel safety shell of Unit 1 of the Guangdong Lianjiang Nuclear Power Project of State Power Investment Corporation was lifted into place, marking the topping out of the nuclear island reactor building of Unit 1 and the formal formation of the main structure of the building. The Lianjiang Nuclear Power Project plans to construct 6 million kilowatt level nuclear power units, including 2 nuclear power units with a single capacity of 1.25 million kilowatts in the first phase of the project, which is scheduled to be completed and put into operation in 2028.
