On February 12th, the Beijing Municipal Administration for Market Regulation announced that it had recently organized administrative talks with 12 mainstream platforms involved in online train ticket sales, including Ctrip, Qunar, Fliggy, Tongcheng, Meituan, JD.com, Hanglv Zongheng, High speed Rail Steward, Didi, Gaode Maps, Baidu Maps, Tencent Maps, etc., focusing on the prominent issues of online train ticket sales that have been strongly reflected by the public. At the interview, the Beijing Municipal Administration for Market Regulation clearly proposed four compliance requirements for business operations to various platforms. One is to strictly implement the main responsibility and social responsibility, establish the correct business philosophy, and provide more assistance and less congestion for passengers' travel; The second is to comprehensively investigate business models and service processes, prohibit explicit or implicit claims that consumers can obtain priority ticket purchasing privileges through paid services, promptly rectify misleading propaganda such as "acceleration packages", "dual channels", and "remaining ticket monitoring" after ticket sales, and consciously accept social supervision; The third is to comprehensively investigate and rectify the platform pages, remove products suspected of misleading promotion, adjust the promotional content of the pages, prohibit the use of 12306 images, text, trademarks and other promotional materials, and make consumers mistakenly believe that there is a specific business cooperation between the platform and 12306; The fourth is to conscientiously do a good job in clearly marking prices, significantly reminding the content and prices of value-added services, timely rectifying the problem of inconsistency between the displayed price of train tickets and the actual payment fees caused by the lack of prominent value-added service prompts, and effectively safeguarding consumers' right to know. It is reported that in the next step, the Beijing Municipal Administration for Market Regulation will continue to increase regulatory and law enforcement efforts, and crack down on illegal activities such as false ticket grabbing, induced transactions, and price fraud in accordance with the law. At the same time, we welcome the general public to strengthen supervision over the services of third-party train ticket online sales platforms, jointly promote the standardized and healthy development of the industry, and maintain a fair and competitive market order.
