With the opening of the 2026 Zhongguancun Forum Annual Meeting, the Sanshan Wuyuan Cultural and Art Center (Haidian Museum) adjacent to the permanent site of the Zhongguancun Forum - Zhongguancun International Innovation Center, simultaneously released and held four major themed exhibitions, all of which were unveiled to the public for the first time. In recent days, experts, scholars, citizens of the capital, and tourists visiting Beijing have been experiencing the unique charm of a technological event in the landscape gardens, witnessing the two-way flow of culture and technology together. Walking into the "Royal Garden of Splendor - Historical and Cultural Exhibition of Three Mountains and Five Gardens", the curved screen in front of you is scrolling through the scenes of spring, summer, autumn, and winter in the Yuanmingyuan, attracting visitors to look back at the magnificent scenery of the Three Mountains and Five Gardens in the past. The exhibition system outlines the development of the Three Mountains and Five Gardens over the past thousand years, integrating physical cultural relics with digital restoration technology, and presenting their construction techniques and cultural connotations in an immersive manner. Changchun Garden is the first garden among the three mountains and five gardens, and was once the place where Emperor Kangxi "avoided noise and listened to politics". Three hundred years have passed, and the melody of "Nie Pridi Violin Concerto" has once again resounded at the cultural and artistic center of Changshan Wuyuan, the former site of Changchun Garden. This nearly 20000 square meter building embodies the concept of "hiding architecture underground and giving history to the skyline", interpreting contemporary cultural and museum workers' thoughts on "how to place history": "hiding" underground provides a quiet space for cultural relic protection and restoration; Let go of the sky while reading historical stories and leaving blank spaces. At the exhibition release ceremony, a batch of Jingxi rice "Purple Gold Hoop" rice seeds was officially introduced into the Sanshan Wuyuan Cultural and Art Center in Tibet. This "living cultural relic" personally selected and cultivated by Emperor Qianlong can still sprout and grow under the protection of several generations. In the archaeological site of Yuanmingyuan Ruyuan, the ancient lotus seeds that had been dormant for over a hundred years have also bloomed again under the guidance of modern technology. A seed awakens a garden, just like this "growing" cultural space, collecting not only artifacts, but also the everlasting roots of civilization. The synchronized opening of the "Landscape Connected City - Haidian Historical Relics Exhibition" showcases over 300 unearthed cultural relics, providing empirical evidence of the civilization development trajectory of Haidian from the Neolithic Age to the Qing Dynasty; The "Colorful Wonders - Immersive Experience Exhibition of Grotto Art" brings the Silk Road Grottoes to life through digital modeling and AI algorithms; The 2026 Asian Digital Art Exhibition is themed around "the usefulness of human beings" and revolves around five stages: "naming life, creating life, governing life, introducing artificial subjects into society, and archiving civilization", constructing a complete immersive narrative experience. From history to the present, from cultural relics to numbers, the four exhibitions shine together, interpreting the concept of "connecting the charm of gardens, bridging the boundaries of ancient and modern times, and connecting the eyes of the world". On site, the "leaders" of several well-known museums, Lian Mai, sent cloud based blessings to the exhibition. As an important carrier for the construction of national cultural centers and international communication centers, the Sanshan Wuyuan Cultural and Art Center is not only a protection and inheritance of historical context, but also a forward-looking layout for technological innovation. From the dialogue between Chinese and Western music 300 years ago to the two-way journey of "technology+culture" today, this landmark has brought together the profound cultural heritage of the Three Mountains and Five Gardens with the innovative spirit of Zhongguancun. The "Science and Technology Temple" and the "Culture Temple" shine together, playing a symphony of culture and technology. (New Society)
