On March 28th, the ground receiving station of the Tianfu Constellation satellite located in Meishan area of Sichuan Tianfu New Area was officially put into operation. Meishan Station has fully automated satellite data transmission and measurement and control capabilities, mainly responsible for receiving remote sensing data of the constellation, satellite operation control, task planning and other important responsibilities, providing all-weather support for the stable operation of the constellation. It is reported that Meishan Station is the first commercial satellite remote sensing operation and control station in Southwest China, independently built by a local enterprise, with the largest scale in Sichuan and integrated constellation and ground station, filling the gap in the field of commercial satellite remote sensing operation and control in Southwest China. At present, Meishan Station has successfully received satellite data in orbit 112, with a data volume of over 3TB and a data reception success rate of over 97%. (New Society)
