The forum is based in Hong Kong and faces the world, with on-site ideological exchanges and consensus building, injecting new ideological momentum and practical vitality into promoting the construction of a community with a shared future for mankind. Breaking through the impasse through cooperation and building a new cornerstone of global governance. This forum places "cooperation" at the core, advocating for dialogue to replace confrontation, consultation to resolve differences, and collaboration to address challenges, providing intellectual support for resolving global governance dilemmas. In his opening speech at the forum, Chang Bo, Director of the China Foreign Languages Administration, stated that cooperation is the profound foundation of China's excellent traditional culture, revealing the Chinese nation's pursuit of mutual benefit and win-win values. Cooperative development is a public wealth that China contributes to all mankind in the new era. As an active participant and contributor to global governance, China has always advocated the practice of the global governance concept of consultation, co construction, and sharing, and has taken practical actions to promote the international community from confrontation to cooperation and from division to unity. From the joint construction of the "the Belt and Road" initiative, which brings together more than three quarters of the world's countries for joint development, to the settlement of the world's first intergovernmental international organization, the International Mediation Court, which is dedicated to solving international disputes through mediation, in Hong Kong, China interprets the oriental wisdom and win-win cooperation with practical actions. The guests attending the forum believe that peace and development are the common pursuit of humanity, and only through unity and cooperation can we cope with common risks. Irina Bokova, former Director General of UNESCO and Senior Advisor to the Board of Directors of the European Union Asia Centre, stated that the world is facing three major challenges: regional conflicts, climate change, and technological revolution, which must be addressed through global cooperation. China's four major global initiatives are comprehensive and organically unified, practicing true multilateralism and in line with the core spirit of the United Nations Charter. During the forum, the Contemporary China and World Studies Institute released the traditional Chinese and English versions of the book "Decoding 'High Quality Development'", which revolves around the new development concepts of innovation, coordination, green, openness, and sharing. It uses a popular and accessible expression system to explain the basic connotation, main characteristics, and key tasks of China's high-quality development, and combines vivid cases to decode China's practice, providing a Chinese solution for global development that can be referenced. The director of Thailand China "the Belt and Road" Research Center in Thailand, Willem Pachaun Paddy, said that Chinese path to modernization has broken the myth of "modernization=westernization", proving that modernization does not need to rely on plunder and confrontation, but can achieve common prosperity through peaceful development, open cooperation. The joint construction of the "the Belt and Road" initiative is more to transform China's development opportunities into global public goods. The projects such as the China Thailand Railway, the China Laos Railway, and the Ya'an Wanzhou High speed Railway span geographical distances, eliminate development gaps, and open modern channels for countries in the South. More and more people from various countries are visiting China, trying to find solutions to the development challenges faced by their own countries. ”Joseph Gregory Mahoney, an American scholar and professor at East China Normal University, told reporters that China pursues mutual benefit and win-win outcomes, and abandons zero sum games. This development logic provides a new paradigm for global governance. At this forum, multiple guests highly affirmed Hong Kong's unique advantages and important role in building a new platform for international exchange through Hong Kong as a bridge. Tan Yaozong, Secretary General of the Hong Kong Re departure Alliance and Honorary Dean of the Hong Kong Institute of Peace, stated that the Hong Kong Institute of Peace relies on Hong Kong's international research and communication advantages, based in Guangdong, Hong Kong, and Macao, facing Southeast Asia, and radiating to the world. It is committed to building a high-end think tank platform for China and foreign countries, promoting global governance experience exchange, and exploring ways of cooperation and win-win outcomes. In the field of international dispute resolution, Hong Kong's advantages are becoming increasingly prominent. As the preferred arbitration venue in the Asia Pacific region, Hong Kong relies on its common law system and internationally aligned legal environment to provide full support for the operation of the International Court of Mediation. Zhang Guojun, Deputy Secretary for Justice of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Government, stated that Hong Kong can play a unique role in international mediation, legal arbitration, risk management, and other fields, using the rule of law to safeguard international cooperation and help improve the global governance system. Hong Kong is fully capable of becoming an important promoter of building a community with a shared future for mankind. ”Weilun Pichao Padi told reporters that Hong Kong not only connects China with the world, but also connects different civilizations, systems, and development concepts. It is an ideal bridge to promote people to people communication and consolidate development consensus. In today's increasingly perfect "hard connectivity", "heart connectivity" is becoming more and more important. Hong Kong can promote cultural exchange and become a key node for the world to understand China and embrace the world through its diverse and inclusive characteristics. (Looking into the New Era)
