This year, the organizer of the Global Service Trade Summit has added the World Intellectual Property Organization, jointly hosted by the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development, the Ministry of Commerce, and the Beijing Municipal People's Government. During the exhibition, a series of activities such as the Global Service Trade Summit, achievement display, parallel forum, negotiation and promotion will be launched. The 2026 Service Trade Fair will be hosted by Norway as the guest country and Guangxi as the guest province. Currently, more than 40 countries and international organizations have confirmed the establishment of exhibition halls to comprehensively showcase the core hotspots of global service trade. This service trade fair focuses on 9 industry topics including telecommunications, computer and information services, and financial services. 223 enterprises and institutions have expressed their intention to participate, and for the first time, a "Overseas Service Promotion Roadshow Area" has been set up to showcase cases and achievements of China's service and technology going global. This year's series of forums at the China International Fair for Trade in Services (CIFTIS) will feature four major sections: open integration, win-win cooperation, digital innovation, and green development. Nearly 50 events have been invited, including the Service Trade Development Forum, the Capital International Medical Conference, and the Global Service Trade Entrepreneurs Summit. Through a combination of offline and online results release methods, international organizations, industry organizations, etc. are invited to release industry standards, development indices, development reports, and other information. The Canadian Embassy in China, the World Intellectual Property Organization, and other institutions have applied to hold nearly 20 results negotiation and promotion events. In addition, this year's Service Trade Fair will make full use of the characteristic venue of Shougang Park, actively plan and hold supporting activities such as cultural and tourism trend markets and "cultural, commercial, and sports exhibitions", preliminarily solicit 9 activities such as the China International Candy Season and the 2026 Community Cup Basketball Tournament, continue to promote more than 10 business inspection routes, improve registration and ticket services, transportation, accommodation, catering and other supporting guarantees, continue to promote convenient policies for entry and exit such as port visa processing and visa extension, provide on-site explanations and other services, and form central enterprise trading groups, central financial enterprise trading groups, provincial and municipal trading groups to help overseas merchants deeply understand the development environment, industrial advantages and cooperation opportunities of China's service trade.
