The 22nd China (Shenzhen) International Cultural Industry Expo and Trade Fair opened in Shenzhen on the 21st. The "One General and Three Parts" of the China National Version Hall jointly participated in the exhibition, while the Guangzhou National Version Hall exhibited numerous characteristic collections and cultural and creative products, presenting the fruitful results of version collection, research, and utilization. At this year's Cultural Expo, the Central Branch of the China National Publishing House, together with its branches in Xi'an, Hangzhou, and Guangzhou, planned to launch the "Edition Stele - Commemorating the 90th Anniversary of the Victory of the Long March of the Chinese Workers' and Peasants' Red Army Edition Exhibition", which reproduced the glorious journey of the 25000 mile Long March to the audience and received widespread attention. The Guangzhou National Version Library brings with it the propaganda leaflets of the Red Army Women's Propaganda Team on February 5, 1933, which read "Be a Red Army soldier", the temporary central government organ newspaper of the Chinese Soviet Republic on March 30, 1933, the 1938 Random House edition of "Red Star Over China", the first to fifth editions of "Journey to the West" published by the Shanghai Restoration Society from 1938 to 1939, as well as precious versions of various types of films, posters, and editions related to the Long March. From ink to light and shadow, they showcase the great imprint of the Long March from different carriers and perspectives. In addition, the Guangzhou National Version Museum displays precious classics that have been collected over the past year. The Tang Dynasty's handwritten version of the Lotus Sutra, the Song Dynasty's Yuan Dynasty's Ming Dynasty's revised version of Mr. Hui'an's Zhu Wen Official Documents, the Ming Dynasty's engraved version of the Comprehensive Mirror for Aid in Government, and the Qing Dynasty's Guangdong Book Company's engraved version of the Complete Catalogue of the Four Treasures, showcase to the audience the profound and extensive origins of Chinese culture. The Hong Kong, Macau, and Taiwan versions are one of the distinctive features of the collection of the Guangzhou National Version Museum. At this year's Cultural Expo, the museum exhibited two works by representative figures of the Lingnan School of Painting, including Gao Jianfu and Leon Lai. Among them, Gao Jianfu's manuscript "Pineapple" uses delicate brushstrokes to carve the texture of the fruit skin, with colors arranged in a staggered manner. The interplay of light, shadow, and reality pushes the three-dimensional and realistic sense of the object to the extreme, showcasing precise capture of nature and exquisite realism skills; Dawn's painting "Moon Bathing on the Double Sparrow Vine" creates a serene and ethereal atmosphere with a bright full moon. The two sparrows in the painting are lifelike, jumping onto the paper. The wisteria flowers are clustered in a purple with a hint of blue, and the colors are as brilliant as clouds, fully demonstrating the author's sketching skills. The "Fang Zhengwen Qin Yongle Da Dian Ti" is another highlight of the "One General and Three Fen" exhibition area of the China National Version Pavilion at this year's Cultural Expo. This font was jointly developed by the Guangzhou National Version Museum and Beijing Beida Fangzheng Electronics Co., Ltd. after two years of research and development. Based on the "Lake" character book in the "Yongle Encyclopedia", it replicates the charm of Ming Dynasty calligraphy, which features "connected strokes, tightened central palace, slightly higher center of gravity, and relaxed strokes". Since its debut in August 2025, more than 100 units have been authorized to use this font for public welfare purposes. In addition, more than 50 related cultural and creative products designed and developed by the Guangzhou National Version Hall have been unveiled, with a wide variety of product types and application scenarios covering daily life, work and study, decoration and display, etc. (Looking into the New Era)
