The successful holding of the forum marks that the Chinese academic community's attention to the Balkan region is shifting from national case studies to regional holistic and systematic knowledge construction, and from historical retrospective to practical care that combines historical depth and global perspective. The scholars at the meeting generally believed that deepening Balkan studies has irreplaceable theoretical value and practical significance for understanding the complexity of the European integration process, grasping the geopolitical dynamics of Eurasia, promoting the high-quality development of the "the Belt and Road" and building a community with a shared future for mankind.
