The 9th China Latin America Civilization Dialogue Forum was recently held in Mexico City, the capital of Mexico. More than a hundred political figures, experts, scholars, media representatives, and others from 12 countries and 2 international organizations held discussions on topics such as governance experience exchange, digital cooperation, and education cooperation, discussing the exchange, mutual learning, and practical cooperation between Chinese and Latin American civilizations.

The forum released the second batch of joint research projects of the "Global Civilization Dialogue Academic Partner Network" and held a ceremony to release the Chinese and Western versions of the book "Five Major Projects: New Paradigms of China Latin America Cooperation". Rebecca Ramos, Secretary General of the Latin American Academy of Social Sciences, stated that the social science communities in Latin America and China have their own strengths in modernization, regional cooperation, and global governance. Joint research can help both sides broaden their academic horizons and enhance their research capabilities.
