In response to the severe rainstorm and flood disasters in Miyun, Beijing, Chengde, Hebei and other places, the National Disaster Prevention, Reduction and Relief Commission, on the basis of launching the national three-level emergency response for disaster relief in Beijing, raised the level of national emergency response for disaster relief in Hebei to three-level on July 31, and sent a working group composed of relevant departments to the disaster affected areas to guide disaster relief work, verify the disaster situation, comfort the masses, and effectively ensure the basic living of the victims.
