At the event, the National Healthcare Security Administration officially released the "Announcement on Carrying out Drug Price Registration and Inquiry Services" and jointly launched the China Drug Price Registration System with the Beijing Municipal People's Government. It entrusted state-owned enterprises in Xicheng District to adopt a socialized operation mode and provide drug price registration and inquiry services for domestic and foreign pharmaceutical enterprises both online and offline in accordance with the principle of "local acceptance, national sharing, and global openness". Pharmaceutical companies can independently declare and register drug prices according to their development needs, and are responsible for their authenticity. The operating unit accepts the registration declaration and does not interfere with the specific price level of the company's products. The registration price is open to enterprises and the world for inquiry. Drug marketing authorization holders can obtain multilingual query vouchers for the registration price, which serve as valid proof of drug price registration. The Chinese drug price registration system is independent of provincial pharmaceutical procurement platforms, which helps enterprises build a more comprehensive global drug price system and also helps to improve the modernization level of drug price governance.
