The All-China Federation of Trade Unions Guangdong Provincial Committee, in collaboration with Guangdong Provincial Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine, Sun Yat-sen Memorial Hospital of Sun Yat-sen University, and Guangdong Workers' Hospital (Guangdong Workers' Sanatorium), jointly signed a cooperation agreement on the 25th to build a full-process service system for "two cancers" screening and treatment of female employees in Guangdong Province. This initiative aims to bridge the "last mile" from screening to diagnosis and treatment, constructing a complete health service closed loop of "screening-referral-diagnosis-follow-up" for over 16 million female employees in Guangdong Province. On the same day, the mobile examination vehicle of Guangdong Workers' Hospital (Guangdong Workers' Sanatorium) arrived at the Workers' Cultural Palace in Guangzhou to conduct examinations for female employees. Doctors stated: "Cervical cancer screening is not just a 'quick glance'. Persistent HPV infection is the 'root cause', but there is a 5-to-10-year window period from infection to cancer transformation. As long as regular screenings are conducted, it can be completely prevented." According to the agreement, the Guangdong Provincial Federation of Trade Unions will coordinate annual screening plans at all levels of trade unions across the province and lead the construction of a four-party cooperation platform. Guangdong Workers' Hospital (Guangdong Workers' Sanatorium) will undertake mobile screening tasks in enterprises, industrial parks, and construction sites, accurately identify high-risk or abnormal cases, and provide full-cycle services. For high-risk employees identified through screening, Guangdong Provincial Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine and Sun Yat-sen Memorial Hospital of Sun Yat-sen University will strictly implement the "three priorities" (priority registration, priority examination, priority hospitalization), open exclusive union number channels, and achieve priority appointment and priority additional registration through dedicated lines and personnel. In principle, patients will be seen on the same day or the next day; core examinations will be completed within 2 working days after diagnosis; for patients confirmed to require surgery, hospitalization arrangements will be feedback within 24 hours, and a two-way referral green channel with primary medical institutions will be opened to achieve mutual recognition of examination results in accordance with current regulations, avoiding repeated examinations. It is reported that this cooperation addresses the problem of poor connection and non-closed services in the referral and treatment of high-risk cases found in previous screenings. By jointly connecting the "broken points" with tertiary hospitals, high-risk female employees identified through screening will receive "zero-wait" referral and "one-stop" diagnosis and treatment services, truly achieving effective prevention and control of "two cancers", improving the health level and life happiness index of female employees.
